How to buy this book

Here is information on how to order this book and other books by James Kessler.

I am not a tax practitioner, but I wish to read about my tax position as a person who may be resident, but not domiciled, in the UK. Should I buy the book? This book is not intended as a self-help guide, but it is readable for a lay person. If you wish to research your tax position in depth, and so take control over your tax affairs, or review the quality of tax advice you are receiving, buy the book.

I have the 9th edition; do I need the 10th (2010/11) edition?

You do. The pace of change is frenetic, including since the last edition: the Finance Act 2011, a new edition of HMRC6 (Residence), European Commission action on transfer of asset rules, and many new cases. The last edition is dangerously out of date.
