THE PRINCIPAL REGISTRY OF THE FAMILY DIVISION
Incorporation of Standard Forms District Judge's Direction
and Clauses in Wills 10th April 1995
Rule 14 (3) of the Non-Contentious Probate Rules 1987 make provision for the production to the Court of any document which is incorporated in a will. This provision extends to the incorporation of standard will forms and clauses, other than statutory will forms.
As from the date of this Direction when application is made to admit to proof a will which incorporates standard forms or clauses as contained in a published document, production of that document will not be required in any individual case, unless otherwise directed, if the published document containing the standard forms or clauses (together with as many copies as may be required) has been previously lodged with the Senior District Judge and accepted by him as sufficient lodgment for the purposes of this Direction.
