Unfortunately there were three errors in the version for STEP Standard Provisions (Northern Ireland version) as printed in appendix 1 to the 2nd editition of DTWT in Northern Ireland.

Para 3(10) -power of insurance - should be deleted.

Para 4 (Powers of maintenance and advancement) should read:

4. POWERS OF MAINTENANCE AND ADVANCEMENT

Sections 32 and 33 Trustee Act (Northern Ireland) 1958 shall apply with the following modifications:

  1. Section 32(2) shall be deleted.
  2. The words 'one-half of' in section 33(1) shall be deleted.

Para 15(b) should be deleted.
